See the full time history

Look up when a driver clocked in and out, every break (when, where, how long) and any vehicle switch, on the driver's page or the vehicle's page.

The time history is the full record of a shift: when the driver clocked in, every break, any change of vehicle, and when the shift ended, each with the time and the place the phone reported. You need permission to view drivers (for a driver's page) or fleet (for a vehicle's page).

Look up a driver

  1. Open Drivers, click the driver and open the Shifts & payouts tab.
  2. Scroll to Time history. The newest shift is first.
  3. Set History from and History to to the dates you want. The last 30 days show by default, and the dates stay in the page link, so you can send the link to a colleague.
  4. Read each shift from top to bottom. The line above it gives Worked, Breaks, Paid and the Odometer start and end.

Look up a vehicle

  1. Open Fleet, click the vehicle and open the Time clock history tab.
  2. Time history at the bottom lists every driver's shifts on this vehicle in the same way.

What each line means

  • Clocked in / Clocked out: the time, the place and the odometer reading.
  • Break started / Break ended: the type (Lunch, Rest, Fuel, Maintenance, Personal or Other with the reason), the place where the driver tapped, and how long the break lasted.
  • Left vehicle (switch) / Took vehicle (switch): the driver changed vehicle during the shift. The first shift ends on the old vehicle with its odometer, the next starts on the new one.
  • Force-ended by a person, or Ended automatically: the driver did not clock out. The line gives who or what closed the shift and the reason.

A place is the street and city where the phone was, for example 123 King St W, Toronto. Click it to open the map; hover it to see the coordinates. The street name is looked up just after the event, so a very recent event can show the coordinates (with the phone's accuracy, for example ±9 m) for a moment. The coordinates also stay when your company's map service finds no street there. Location not recorded means the phone sent no position: the driver had location turned off, there was no signal, or the shift is from before places were recorded. Nothing is guessed for those.

A vehicle switch during a shift shows as one block with the combined totals and, under it, each vehicle's own leg. If the phone could not get a fresh position when the driver tapped a break button, the app sends the last position it knew (up to 5 minutes old) and the line says last known position with its age.

Export it

Click CSV to download one row per event for the whole period: the shift, the event, its time, the place, the latitude and longitude, the accuracy, who closed it and the shift totals. Times are in your company's time zone and date format (the zone is in the column heading, for example Time (America/Toronto)), distances in your distance unit. A shift that is still open has Shift status Open and its Worked (min) counted up to now.

If something looks wrong

If a clock-in or clock-out time is wrong, correct it from Details on the shift (see Plan shifts and check the time clock). Corrections are saved with your reason in the activity log. Pay is recalculated for that shift and the driver's later shifts of the week, except any shift already in a pay period.
