Card payments
What customers paid by card or bank debit online, the fees taken, refunds and disputes, and what reaches your Stripe balance, with the per-payment ledger and refunds.
On this page
Card payments lists the payments customers made online through your connected Stripe account, with the fees taken and what reaches your Stripe balance. It needs card payment view rights (every default role); refunds need card payment edit rights (Admin, Operations Manager and Finance by default). For cheques, transfers and credit too, use Payments.

Refund
Refund (card payment edit rights) opens a dialog: enter the Refund amount (up to what is left) and a Reason, then click Refund. The dialog explains where the money comes from: the invoice's amount due is restored, or, if the money was kept as the customer's credit, the refund is taken from their credit. The button is disabled when nothing is left to refund.
When a customer disputes the charge with their card issuer, Card dispute open shows: submit evidence in your Stripe dashboard. Refunds are blocked while the dispute is open.
