The Operations overview is the home page of the company app: what needs a dispatcher now, how the business is doing and where the fleet is. It needs read access to reports, which every built-in role has (Admin, Operations Manager, Dispatcher, Warehouse Manager, Finance and Viewer). Open it from Operations overview in the sidebar.

Every count on the page comes from your data; clicking a tile or a row opens the list filtered to exactly those records. Links only work for lists your role can open.

At a glance

AreaWhat it shows / does
HeaderLive operations badge, Updated … ago with a refresh button, the period picker (7 days, 30 days, This month).
Get set upThe setup checklist for a new company, until it is finished or dismissed. Shown only to people who can do at least one open step (usually admins); the full guide is always at Setup guide.
Today's AI briefUp to five lines, written by AI, on what needs attention today, each linking to the list. Only when AI is on for your company.
Needs attentionTiles for what is waiting, most urgent first.
Today's boardToday's order counters, top exceptions and latest orders.
Key numbersOrders, Revenue (invoiced), Collected, Outstanding, Active customers, Drivers on shift.
Plan usageOrders used this period against your plan.
Lower cardsFleet status, Fulfilment pipeline, Delivery performance, Fleet condition, Deliveries trend.

Roles that dispatch (they can read the fleet or routes) see Today's board before the key numbers; finance-only roles see the numbers first.

  • Updated just now / Updated … s ago / … min ago shows when the page last refreshed. The page refreshes by itself; the refresh button reloads now.
  • The period picker changes the key numbers and the lower cards (not Needs attention or Today's board, which are always "now"). The choice stays in the address (?range=30d).

Today's AI brief

When AI is on for your company (plans with the AI assistant: Growth, Pro and Enterprise), the indigo Today's AI brief panel with the AI mark sits above Needs attention: up to five short lines on what to do first today, most urgent first, for example "Decide on the 2 failed attempts: retry, hold or return to sender." or "Assign a driver to the 9 orders waiting for one." Click a line to open the filtered list (orders, exceptions, drivers, invoices or COD cash) it is about.

  • Where the lines come from: NemiRoute counts the same things as the tiles and the exceptions queue (failed and late orders with their worst examples, orders without a driver, drivers off shift, driver issues, vehicles behind, lost signal, COD cash overdue, driver documents expiring, failed payments, overdue invoices, plan usage) and the AI only ranks and words them. Every number and link is checked against those counts before the brief is shown; a brief that doesn't check out is never shown.
  • What you see depends on your role: the card needs the Reports read permission, and facts behind pages you can't open (invoices, COD, drivers, plan) are left out.
  • Once a day: the first person to open the page each day (in your company's time zone) gets a fresh brief; everyone with the same role and language then reads the same one. The footer says when it was written ("Written by AI from the numbers at 07:42 — check before acting"). The tiles below are always live.
  • EN / FR: the language of the brief. It starts in your company's language (Settings → General); switching writes the brief in the other language.
  • Refresh (the circular arrow) writes a new brief from the live numbers. Three refreshes a day; the footer counts what is left ("2 refreshes left today").
  • While the brief is being written a status line reads "Writing today's brief from your live numbers…".
  • When there is nothing to report the panel says "Nothing needs attention right now." If the AI fails while it is on, the panel says so with Try again and the tiles below work as usual. When AI is off (your plan has no AI assistant, the month's AI budget is used up, or AI is switched off) the page has no brief panel at all.

Needs attention

Only tiles with something to do are shown, in this order: Running late, Failed attempts, Need a driver, Nobody on shift, Failed payments, Overdue invoices, COD cash overdue, Plan limit. Everything else is listed after All clear:. The line next to the title says how many areas need a look, or "Nothing is waiting on you right now."

Today's board

Three counters link to the matching orders: Unassigned (need a driver), In progress (accepted through at delivery) and Done today (delivered or completed). Below, switch between:

  • Exceptions: the five most urgent items from the exceptions queue with their kind and age, and Open the exceptions queue (…). "No exceptions" when every open order has a driver and is on time and no vehicle needs you.
  • Latest orders: Order, Customer, Status, Total and Created. Roles that can't see prices don't see totals.

Key numbers

Each card compares the period with the one before it (the dates are printed above the cards) and shows the change as a percentage with Previous:.

CardWhat it shows
OrdersOrders created in the period.
Revenue (invoiced)Amount invoiced, before tax.
CollectedAmount paid (tax included), minus refunds and reversed payments.
OutstandingAmount still unpaid on invoices.
Active customersCustomers with activity, and the total number of customers.
Drivers on shiftDrivers clocked in now, out of your active drivers.

Plan usage

Shows orders used this period against your plan's limit with a bar, the plan name and either when the count resets, when you will hit the limit at this pace, or that the limit is reached. Plans without a limit say "unlimited". Manage plan (or Upgrade plan near the limit) opens Subscription for roles that can see billing.
